The Green Rose 1833 China
The Green Rose ~ Hybrid China 1833 (est.) - Bambridge & Harrison
Rosa chinensis viridiflora / Rosa Monstrosa ~ Zones 7-9

The small whitish-green to blue-green oval buds of this unusual rose bush open to display
bronzed to purple tipped double green sepals instead of petals.  It is a hearty disease resistant,
shade tolerant rose with a slight herbal fragrance that is easy to grow in the poorest of soils.
